We visited Holly Water Cabin for an anniversary weekend and travelled from London which was very easy and relatively quick. Sara organised travel to and from Creditor station which we were very grateful for.

The situation and scenery around the cabin is stunning. We were there in October so the fields and trees were in full autumn glory. We really enjoyed just sitting on the deck and watching all the birds feasting on the flower seed heads. If you’re a twitcher it’s an absolute haven. The local pub a 25 minute walk away and it's all you want from a country pub. Warm atmosphere, friendly locals and great food.

Sara and Ed have created a truly wonderful experience. We’ve visited a few off-grid cabins and it’s become a bit of a theme, so we’ve seen a few. Holly Water cabin one is exemplary. You know the hosts have amazing attention to detail when the kitchen utensils are top notch, especially sharp knives!

We just spent the weekend, cooking, walking, reading and truly felt we’d recharged. What the pictures don’t tell you is what perfect hosts Sara and Ed are. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended. - October 2024

We absolutely fell in love with the place. The setting is magical. Especially when spotting the kingfisher and with deer popping up in the field. The total peace and quiet and no mobile phone reception helped us totally relax and just enjoy the surroundings. September 2024

I had such a wonderful time at Holly Water. There was such caring attention to detail to make the stay special in every way, from the beautiful craftsmanship of the cabin itself, to the furnishings, Christmas decorations, blankets and sheepskins for sitting outside, food essentials, and gorgeous bathroom products. The owners commitment to their guests stay, is also evident in the environment itself, and watching breakfast time in the sorghum and sunflowers was a joy. I cannot wait to come back. Wow, what can I say, other than when can I go back? Absolute perfection. Everything about our stay was amazing. Holly Water Cabin felt like one massive hug and was exactly what I had hoped. The location was perfect, so peaceful and serene. The outdoor bath was such a treat, even in the rain it was perfect. Literally can’t wait to go back, think this may be a yearly retreat, feeling completely recharged and sad to have left. - September 2023

We chose Holly Water Cabin for a short break straight after our wedding and are so glad we did! The cabin itself is so warm and cosy, with a high-quality finish. However, what really blew us away was the attention to detail. From the thoughtful essentials left for breakfast and snacks, to the cast iron equipment for cooking outdoors and the wonderful-smelling toiletries, we felt so looked after! The location itself is outstanding, and I spent hours admiring and trying to identify all the flora and fauna we were treated to. We were fortunate enough to visit during the heatwave and the combination of sun-worshipping on the decking, and cooling off under the trees by the stream was absolute perfection. Very clean and beautifully presented Cabin. Really relaxing setting and lovely furnishings. Most of the time was spent within the cabin. The guide provided by the owners was clear and we managed to visit some recommended places. The cabin and grounds were lovely. We enjoyed using the bath and looking around the surrounding fields. All fo the extra touches with wild flowers and welcome treats were really thoughtful. - July 2023
